Funeral ritual

So I’m planning on doing a funeral ritual on myself. It’s not the kind where someone actually passes on or is passing on. I have doing a funeral ritual for my younger self. I have had a hard upbringing from assault, my mother marrying my assaulter, foster care, phycological and emotional abuse from my mother and ex husband of eight years of marriage. So I’m doing this ritual to help me lay the past to rest. And to be able to move on and be who I want to be.

For this funeral ritual I will be using:
a picture of me from around the time it started and another for when it ended.
Candles
Incense
Spell

First I’ll cast my circle and ask my goddesses to protect me as I start my ritual.
I’ll then proceed to light my incense and candles.
I will take the first picture of when it started hold it in my hands and start my spell.
After I have finished the spell I will ask my goddesses to watch over my younger self and keep her safe. And then put the picture to the flame of the candle and let it burn.
Then I’m going to take the more recent picture and say a different spell and ask my goddesses to watch over her and keep her safe. Then I will burn that picture as well.

My goal for this ritual is to help me to let go of the past and over come the pain and heartache I have held on to for far too long. Because it has made me very anti social and disconnected to other people.

Planetary correspondence part 2

So this is part two of my planetary correspondence. Which I will be talking about the moon. Even though the moon is not a planet of it’s self it is still very much important to the craft. So without further Ado here goes part 2.
Moon her deities are: Hecate, Selene, Diana, and Thoth.
The day that corresponds to the moon is of course Monday or Moonday.

To represent the moon you can use the symbols such as: a cresent, cup, and sickle.
For her colors they can be either white or silver.
And for metal you can use silver.
The crystals for the moon are: moonstone because of course moon is in the name, pearl, chalcedony and mother of pearl.

If you want to use an incense I suggest Jasmine, lotus, ylang-ylang.
The best plants to offer to the moon or it’s corresponding deities are Lily, hyacinth, Iris, narcissus, willow, and hawthorn.
The Moon can help with mystical senses and imagination, it can also help to see the past, but she also controls our physical and emotional responses. For example if you feel tired when the moon wanes. The moon is receptive and reflects.
The moon is associated with controlling emotions, passion, and helps with glamor, also increases intuition and psychic abilitis.
